Ms. Wilkinson is a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant with 30+ years of nursing and administrative experience.  Her acute care nursing background includes medical-surgical, peri-operative, post-anesthesia care, and supervision.  She served as Director of Nursing in post-acute care and skilled nursing facilities.  Her administrative background encompasses post-acute and skilled nursing care, and includes the development of Dementia Special Care Units and Sub-Acute Services.  

Ms. Wilkinson has served as a nursing and administrative consultant to skilled nursing facilites in the area of regulatory and Medicare compliance, medical record and billing audit, Minimum Data Set audit, liability assessment, JCAHO accreditation preparation, quality improvement, policy development, emergency preparedness, education and administration. 

In 2008, Ms. Wilkinson founded Coast to Coast Legal Nurse Consultants in Tustin, CA.  Her firm assists attorneys with cases involving elder abuse and neglect, nursing home litigation, personal injury, wrongful death, nursing and medical malpractice, regulatory compliance and product liability.

Ms. Wilkinson is actively licensed as a registered nurse and nursing home administrator in California and Massachusetts.  She is a member of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, National Association of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants, Western Regional Legal Nurse Consultants, American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordinators and the American College of Healthcare Administrators.
